The Bible on TV: An Epic Series on the History Channel

I don’t know about you, but after watching just two episodes of this five part, 10 hour mini series on the History Channel (check your local listings for the channel number on your TV or cable system), I’m hooked.

Of course, we all know there is no surprise ending.

The series literally spans from Genesis to Revelation…with the final two hours on Easter day…covering the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

All that said, the program is beautifully done and acted. And why not? It’s produced by Hollywood couple Mark Burnett (he of “Survivor”) and Roma Downey.

The history channel is producing good stuff these days. Check out The Vikings for another superbly done mini series.

Meanwhile, The Bible can be seen every Sunday, 8-10 p.m. (with repeats throughout the week).
